Jefferson moved up two spots to No. 6 in Class 4A in the softball rankings released Friday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The J-Hawks (13-2) are the only Metro team in the rankings. They are playing in the Jack North Classic in Des Moines this weekend. They host No. 7 Iowa City West on Monday.
