The sixth-ranked Cedar Falls girls swimming team ran away with top honors at the Linn-Mar Invitational Saturday at the Linn-Mar Aquatic Center.

The Tigers captured six of 12 events and finished with 587 points. Dowling placed second at 390 and Linn-Mar was third at 323.

The host Lions did not win any events. Paige Broghammer finished second in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 freestyle relay team of Hannah Gardner,

Broghammer, Serena Brizard and Madison Renz placed second in a tight race with Cedar Falls.
