No.20 Coe women tied by Dubuque

The 20th-ranked Coe women's soccer team had to settle for a 2-2 tie with the University of Dubuque in double-overtime Saturday at Clark Field.

Both teams scored in the first half and both teams scored in the second half, but neither club could find the goal in the extra sessions.

Hannah Torry gave the Kohawks a 1-0 lead with an assist from Kelsey Fauser. Fauser made it 2-1 in the second half with an assist from Jordan Holmes, but Dubuque scored three minutes later and that's the way it stayed.

Emily Meeker and Brianna Burkart scored for Dubuque.

Coe fell to 14-1-2 overall and 4-1-1 in the Iowa Conference. Dubuque raised its records to 10-5-2 overall and 2-3-1 in the league.
