CASCADE - The Xavier Saints placed six runners in the top-40 Friday and finished third out of 14 teams at the Cascade Invitational.

Sarah Chicchelly placed 14th for the Saints in 16:41 for the four-kilometer course. Allison Pitz was 17th in 16:50.

Marion finished in 12th place in the team standings. Ellen Cannon led the Indians in 35th place.

Davenport Assumption dominated the meet with five runners in the top 10. Riley Behan of Assumption won the race in 15:23.
