PERU, Neb. - The Mount Mercy women's volleyball team swept Peru State,  25-23, 25-23, 25-13, Saturday in the final match of their regular  season.

The Mustangs raised their records to 20-11 overall and 10-8 in the  Heart of America Conference. Mount Mercy will play in the league  tournament Nov. 9 in the quarterfinals.

Madelyn Orton collected 17 kills and Maddie Bell had 12 Saturday.  Kayla Daggett dished out 31 assists.

Gabi Delsing had 20 digs, Orton 14 and Haley Stecklein 11. Olivia  Makinen, Bell and Abbi Tunis blocked three shots.

Peru State fell to 10-24 overall and 6-11 in the league.
