They almost had to flip a coin to see who won the boys bowling meet Tuesday between Xavier and Jefferson at May City Bowl.

The Saints won by a single pin, 2913 to 2912.

Kirby Guge led Xavier with games of 238 and 192 for a two-game series of 430. Logan Buschette contributed a 234-403 for the Saints, followed by Kaleb Miller 233-391, Kyle Elliott 206-373 and Jason Beer 235-370.

Christian Hindt led Jefferson with a 233-415 and Will James bowled a 237-410.
