Pernicka and Warriors roll past Saints

Keely Pernicka had the line for Washington, rolling a 257 high game and 449 series that led the Warriors past Xavier, 2735-286, Friday in girls bowling at May City Bowl.

Xavier's Tara Trcka had high game for the Saints with a 235. She rolled a 443 series.

Washington held a 20-pin lead after the first round and won the Baker round by 29 pins.

WASHINGTON (2735): Keely Pernicka 257-449, Courtney Snodgrass 169-337, Ashley Duffy 175-345, Kelly Waters 178-355, Lynze Moon 176-331.

XAVIER (2686): Haley Jensen 152-290, Lisa Olberding 188-358, Abbey Konzen 167-331, Tyler Weger 189-375, Tara Trcka 235-443.

First round - Washington 1817, Xavier 1797. Baker round - Washington 918, Xavier 889.
