Jeremy Cline fires perfect 300

IOWA CITY -- Jeremy Cline fired a perfect game of 300 and a 517 series to lead Prairie past Iowa City High, 3119-2811, Friday in boys bowling at Colonial Lanes.

Cline shot a 217 in his first game. He ripped off 12 straight strikes in his second game for a 300.

Cline's 300 is the third for a Prairie boys bowler. Eric Bolton shot one in 2007. Drew Balta had a 300 and 288 for a 588 series in the 2010 season.

 

Josh Wilcox had a 241 high game and 430 series also for Prairie (9-1). Brandon Wagner shot a 236 and 409 for the Hawks.

 

Austin Kibler shot a high game of 258 and 486 series for City High (3-7).
