Wahlert, ranked third in Class 2A, scored a pair of goals in a 1 minute, 10 second span after being denied in a penalty kick opportunity with 26 minutes left in the game.

Jordan Owen scored with 14 minutes remaining for Jefferson (2-2, 0-1) to cut the deficit to 2-1, but Wahlert punched in an insurance goal with 4 minutes left.
