BOSTON -- Jefferson high school teacher and coach Tami Loan ran her first Boston Marathon on Monday and finished with an official time of 3 hours, 49 minutes and 32 seconds.

Loan, who teaches Spanish and coaches girls cross country and track, finished 1,473 among all female runners and was 1,103 among females age 18-to-39.

The race was run in temperatures that reached the mid 80s.
