BURLINGTON - The Prairie Hawks won eight events and ran away with the team championship at the Burlington Relays Friday night.

Sam Manternach (discus), Demetrius Harper (200), Mitch Pritts (800) and Haakon Wilz (400 hurdles) won individual titles for Prairie. The Hawks also won the 4x200 relay, 4x800 relay, distance medley and shuttle hurdle relay.

Prairie finished with 171 points in the seven-team field. Fairfield placed a distance second with 85 points.
