Kennedy boys tripped by Cedar Falls

CEDAR FALLS - The Cedar Rapids Kennedy boys tennis team was defeated by Cedar Falls, 7-2, Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet in Cedar Falls.

Brett Blomberg picked up a point for the Cougars at No. 5 singles and teamed with Jimmy Cunningham for a victory at No. 3 doubles.

No. 1 singles player Riley Galbraith did not play for Kennedy. He also plays soccer and kicked the winning goal in a shootout win over Prairie on Tuesday.
