INDEPENDENCE - Kaitlin Church captured the 1500 and 3000 meter runs Monday to help the Marion Indians finish second at the Independence Invitational track meet.

Morgan Kolarik won the 100 hurdles for Marion and Micaela Combs claimed the discus.

Benton Community won the meet with 163 points. The Indians placed second in the seven-team field with 112 markers.
