IOWA CITY - The Cedar Rapids Washington softball team collected only four hits Wednesday and lost a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader at Iowa City West.

Iowa City West blanked the Warriors, 10-0 and 8-0.

Kirsten Peterson, Callie Cook and Bree Linville had base hits for Washington (0-4) in the first game. Peterson had Washington's only hit in the nightcap.
