Indians fall to Indee

INDEPENDENCE — Kristin Kramer scored a game-high 15 points for Marion on Dec. 17, but her output wasn’t enough as the Indians lost a Wamac Conference game to Independence by a count of 53-49.

Taryn Tarpy, Natalie Reeder and Emily Barker scored 11 points apiece for Independence (2-4).

Beth Knapp and Jessie Kramer scored nine points apiece for Marion (1-6). Allysa Jones added eight points.

MARION (49): Smith 2 0-0 5, Knapp 3 2-4 8, J. Kramer 4 1-2 9, K. Kramer 5 4-5 15, Jones 4 0-1 8, Scott 1 0-0 2, Perkins 1 0-0 2. Totals 20 10-12 49.
