DAVENPORT - Kentrel Smith scored 15 points in Prairie's 65-62 loss to Davenport West Tuesday night.

Prairie (0-1) held a 58-53 lead with 3:45 left but turned the ball over three times as West went on an 8-0 run.

Jace Hanna did not play for Prairie for undisclosed reasons.

West was led by junior Geo Butler, who had 22 points. Freshman Jerry Myles had 16 points.
