Big Baker game lifts J-Hawks past Prairie

Jefferson rolled to a 35-pin win in the fifth Baker game and escaped Prairie, 3052-3018, Friday in boys bowling at May City Bowl.

The J-Hawks held a 44-pin lead after singles in the first round, but Prairie whittled away and held a one-pin margin heading into the final Baker game.

Jefferson responded with a 205, while Prairie managed a 170.

Both teams shot hot, with four 400 series apiece.

Austin Kluth led Jefferson with a 472 series and 268 high game.

Nick Blood paced Prairie with a 455 series and 253 high game.

PRAIRIE (3018): Andrew Galloro 209-219--428, Josh Kacena 233-214--447, Matt Galloro 204-201--405, Sawyer Hansen 124-174--298, Nick Blood 202-253--455.
