Smith leads Marion girls to triangular win

Bre Smith rolled a 235 high game and 385 series to lead the Marion girls to victory Friday in a triangular bowling meet at Cedar Rapids Bowl.

Marion won with a 2510 total. Western Dubuque was second with 2261, followed b y Vinton-Shellsburg with 1659.

Smith leads Marion with 383 series

Bre Smith rolled a 383 series for the Marion Indians Thursday in a 2538-2199 loss to West Delaware in a Wamac Conference girls bowling meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Smith had games of 205 and 178. Ashley Ohl rolled a 211 game for the Indians.

Riley Cole had the high game and high series with a 247-157=404 performance for West Delaware.

Smith, Lamm fire Indians past Tripoli

Bre Smith and Taylor Lamm had the ball rolling Friday and fired Marion past Tripoli, 2362-2008, in girls bowling.

Smith paces Marion girls with 414

Bre Smith bowled a two-game series of 180-234=414 for the Marion Indians Monday in a 2507-2263 loss to DeWitt Central in a Wamac Conference meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Kaylee Dammeier of DeWitt Central nipped Smith for the high series with a 415, but Smith had the high game with her 234.
