Lamm will bowl at Mount Mercy

Marion High School senior Taylor Lamm has accepted an offer to join the Mount Mercy University women's bowling team next season.

Lamm has posted a high series of 677 and a high game of 261 during her career. She has been bowling for nearly 12 years and has performed for the Marion varsity since she was a freshman.

Lamm plans to major in education, with an emphasis in English and a minor in creative writing.

Lamm will sign her letter-of-intent on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the MISD Board Room at the high school.

Marion girls roll to triangular win

Taylor Lamm had the hot hand Friday, rolling games of 206 and 190 for a 396 series that led Marion to the win in a triangular girls bowling meet at Marion Bowl.

Marion scored a 2488. Denver was second with 2195 and Tripoli third with 2052.

Lamm rolls Marion girls past Oelwein

OELWEIN - Taylor Lamm had the line Friday, firing games of 232 and 179 for a 411 series that led Marion past Oelwein, 2211-2161, in girls bowling at Viper Lanes.

Bre Smith rolled a 338 series for the Indians.

Bre Smith leads Marion bowlers

Marion's Bre Smith had the hot hand with games of 196 and 183 for a 379 series Friday in girls bowling at Marion Bowl.

Western Dubuque won the triangular with a score of 2592. Waterloo Columbus was second with 2351 and Marion followed with 2125.

Lamm paces Marion girls bowling team

WAVERLY - Taylor Lamm rolled a two-game series of 338 for the Marion Indians Friday as they dropped a bowling meet against Waverly-Shell Rock, 2105-1964, at the Waverly Bowl.

Kristin Krause took top honors with a 344 for Waverly-Shell Rock.
