Marion girls overwhelmed by Western Dubuque

EPWORTH - Western Dubuque had two bowlers roll 400 series and overwhelmed Marion, 2625-1922, Friday in a girls meet.

Megan Dolphin shot games of 205 and 235 for a 440 series and Jenna Petsche rolled a 419 for Western Dubuque.

Taylor Lamm led Marion with a 176 high game and 331 series.

Taylor Lamm had the line, rolling a 175 high game and 325 series that led Marion past DeWitt Central, 2290-1928, Friday in girls bowling at Marion Lanes.

Blayke Brie shot a 303 series for Marion.

Marion's bowlers had a tough time finding their mark Friday and fell to West Delaware, 2331-1943, in a girls match at Marion Bowl.

Joiah Bandfield led Marion with a 177 high game and 336 series.

WEST DELAWARE (2331): Jaclyn Juergens 145-267, Michaela Amthauer 134-256, Riley Cole 158-291, Tarah DeSotel 147-288, Leah Heim 215-395.

WATERLOO - Marion used a 103-pin advantage in the Baker round to rally past Waterloo Columbus, 2169-2103, Friday in girls bowling.

Taylor Lamm led Marion with a 312 series and had high game of 177.

Marion trailed by 37 pins after the first round.

MAQUOKETA -- Taylor Lamm rolled a 184 high game and 342 series to lead the Marion girls bowling team past Maquoketa, 2169-2065, Friday.

Sarah Keeton rolled a 159 high game for the Indians. Joiah Bandfield had a 302 series.
