Marion girls last at DeWitt regional

DEWITT - The Marion High School girls track team finished in last place at the Class 3A regional meet in DeWitt Thursday.

Alexis Timp placed fourth in the 3000 for Marion's highest individual finish.

Marion girls 12th at Wamac track meet

DYERSVILLE - The Marion Indians finished 12th out of 14 teams at the Wamac Conference girls track meet Thursday in Dyersville.

Allison Scott placed fifth for Marion in the 800 meter run in 2:24.35.

Marion placed third in the distance medley, fourth in the sprint medley and fifth in the 4x400 relay.

Marion - Girls Track

Marion girls get 5 wins at Indee

INDEPENDENCE - Allison Scott won the 800 meter run in 2:36.76 for the Marion Indians Monday at the Independence girls track meet.

Marion also won the distance medley, sprint medley, 4x100 and 4x200 relays.

The Indians got second-place showings from Alexis Timp in the 3000, Tara Zumwalt in the 1500 and the 4x400 relay.

Independence won the six-team meet with 156 points. Marion finished fourth with 104 points.

Marion - Girls Track

Marion girls 10th at own invitational

Madison Weekly won the 800 and 1500 meters to lead Benton Community to the Marion Invitational girls track title Thursday night at Marion.

Marion finished 10th. The Indians' top finishes were second-place efforts by Allison Scott in the 800 meters and Angie Williams in the long jump.

Marion - Girls Track

Indians win 4 titles at Western Dubuque Invy

EPWORTH - The Marion Indians captured four titles at the Western Dubuque Bobcat Invitational girls track meet Thursday.

Allison Scott took the 800-meter run in 2:28.53 and the Indians won three relay races.

Micaela Combs, Morgan Kolarik, Ellen Cannon and Scott won the distance medley in 4:35.9.

Angie Williams, Cannon, Leah Smith and Combs took the 4x200 relay in 1:56.62.

Combs, Scott, Cannon and Smith won the sprint medley in 2:02.69.
