Hawks rout Muskies for Moses’ 1st win

Brandon Lafferty and Chaz Boots scored 21 points apiece to carry Prairie past Muscatine, 83-69, Saturday (Dec. 4) and gave Hawks Coach James Moses his first career win.

Matt MacDougall added 14 points and Jacob Aune 12 for Prairie (1-2). The Hawks led 35-33 at halftime.

Moses, a former University of Iowa standout player, is in his first season as a prep head coach.

Hawks fall at North Scott

ELDRIDGE — Matt MacDougall scored 13 points Friday (Dec. 3) as Prairie dropped a 58-45 decision at North Scott in a boys’ basketball game.

Nobody else scored more than six points for the Hawks (0-2).

Aaon Huber topped North Scott with 26 points.
