Hawks hold off Xavier girls

Prairie overcame a standout performance by Xavier sophomore Tara Trcka to beat the Saints, 2457-2341, Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls bowling meet at Lancer Lanes.

Trcka rolled games of 215 and 202 for a 417 series for Xavier (1-5, 1-5 MVC).

Jamie Kadolph rolled a 213 high game and 383 series to lead Prairie (3-3).

Prairie - Girls Bowling

Hawks lose at Hempstead

DUBUQUE -- Hempstead outscored Prairie by 122 pins in the Baker round and beat the Hawks, 2572-2412, Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet at Bowling & Beyond.

Kate Palmer led Prairie (2-3, 2-3 MVC) with a 203 high game and 390 series.

Hempstead is 3-2, 3-2.

Prairie - Girls Bowling

Keely Pernicka powers Warriors past Hawks

 Keely Pernicka rolled a 209 high game en route to a 381 series that carried Washington past Prairie, 2498-2256, Friday (Dec. 17) in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls’ bowling meet at Lancer Lanes.

The Warriors (2-2) built a 150-pin lead in the first round anstretched it during the Baker round.

Katlynn Palmer had a 202 game and a 389 high series for Prairie (2-2).

Weidemeier’s 200 games carry Cougars

Amanda Weidemeier rolled a pair of 200 games and a 422 series to lead Kennedy past Prairie, 2456-2236, Friday (Dec. 10) in an MVC girls bowling match at Lancer Lanes.

Katlynn Palmer had high game (195) and series (354) for Prairie.

Prairie will host the Prairie Baker Invitational on Saturday at Lancer Lanes. Kennedy will compete.

Katlynn Palmer rolled a two-game series of 173-180–353 Friday (Dec. 3) as Prairie defeated Cedar Falls by 384 pins at Lancer Lanes.

Jami Kadolph had the top individual game with a 186 for Prairie.
