Serbousek's big night lifts Hawks

DUBUQUE - MacKenzie Serbousek had her second four-goal match of the season as Prairie posted an 8-0 win Thursday night over Dubuque Wahlert in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls contest.

Paige Pritts had two goals for Prairie, 10-3. Andrea Reutzel and Kendra Gaskill, who started in goal but played the field over the final 20 minutes, also had goals for the Hawks.

Assists came from Hannah Kousheh (2), Sophie Oritz (2), Pritts, Kelsey Wenger and Taylor Russell.

Kousheh helps Prairie boot Xavier

Hannah Kousheh scored two goals Tuesday night as Cedar Rapids Prairie blanked Xavier, 4-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference soccer match at John Wall Field.

Kousheh collected one of her goals on a penalty kick. MaKenzie Serbousek and Paige Pritts also scored for the Hawks. There were no assists.

Prairie raised its overall record to 9-3.

Prairie girls blank Tigers in soccer

McKenzie Serbousek collected a goal and an assist Friday as the Cedar Rapids Prairie girls soccer team blanked Cedar Falls, 2-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference match at John Wall Field.

Hayley Moyle scored the first goal for the Hawks.

Prairie raised its record to 8-3.

Sebousek's 4 goals lift Prairie girls

MaKenzie Sebousek scored four goals, leading the Prairie girls soccer team to a 7-1 win over visiting Solon on Thursday night at John Wall Field.

Hannah Kousheh, Ali Vaske, and Paige Pritts also scored for the Hawks, now 7-3.

Adelaide Bayne had two assists while Kousheh, Taylor Russell, Sophie Ortiz and Andrea Reutzel had one each for Prairie.

Solon’s lone goal came on a PK from Josie Durr.

Prairie girls blanked by No. 6 Hempstead

DUBUQUE - The Cedar Rapids Prairie girls soccer team was shut out by No. 6 Dubuque Hempstead, 3-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference match in Dubuque Friday.

Prairie fell to 6-3.

Abby Harbin, Holly Bitter and Mariah Morris scored for Hempstead.
