Prairie won five of six singles matches and rolled past Dubuque Senior, 7-2, Monday in girls tennis at Prairie.

Prairie's Maddie Rainey beat Ashton Stopplemoor, 10-6, at No.1 singles.

Magui Caro, Bri Kalous and Michelle Grenn won singles and doubles matches for Prairie.

Prairie girls trim Linn-Mar netters

Prairie won two of three doubles matches and rallied to defeat Linn-Mar, 5-4, Tuesday in girls tennis at Prairie.

Shannon Costigan and Michelle Grenn won twice for Prairie.

Ashley Smith and Gabi Botsford posted a pair of wins for Linn-Mar.

Kennedy girls clip Prairie netters

Jessica Pedersen, Sarah Lasecki, Marisa DonDiego, Hanna Krivit and Lindsey Rutz won their singles matches Monday as Kennedy tripped Prairie, 6-3, in a Mississippi Valley Conference tennis meet at Kennedy.

Pedersen blanked Maddie Rainey at No.1 singles, 10-0.

The Prairie girls split a pair of tennis meets Saturday against Metro opponents.

The Hawks fell to Xavier, 6-3, before beating Jefferson, 8-1.
