Christensen leads Wash bowlers in loss

Shania Christensen rolled a 377 series for the Washington girls bowling team, but the Warriors lost to Waterloo West 2,385 pins to 2,170 Tuesday at Lancer Lanes.

Christensen rolled a 190 game for Washington and Ella Wake was close behind with a 184 game.

Katlyn Bracken had a 322 series for the Wahawks.

Wake paces Washington girls in bowling

WATERLOO – Elle Wake rolled a 181 game and a 350 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team in a 2,215 to 2,005 loss to Cedar Falls on Friday at Maple Lanes.

Rachael Sears had a 318 series for the Tigers.

WASHINGTON: Ella Wake 181-169=350, Shania Christensen 152-147=299, Kobie Dills 124-134=258, Kenzie Dills 115-105=220, Viola Niyizigama 99-113=212.

CEDAR FALLS: Rachael Sears 168-150=318, Andrea Wilson 157-157=314, Madison Standing 161-135=296, Jayden Robe 124-161=285, Emily Barth 146-135=281, Megan McDonell 124-126=250.

Christensen rolls 438 against J-Hawks

Shania Christensen of Washington had the hot hand in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet against Jefferson on Friday at May City Bowl.

Christensen fired a 438 series with games of 235 and 203 for the Warriors, but Jefferson won the meet by a final tally of 2344 to 2128.

Allie Schirmer led Jefferson with a 388 series.

Emma Christensen rolled a 374 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team to a 2,270-2,168 win over Kennedy on Tuesday at Lancer Lanes.

Jamie Milota led the Cougars with a 342 series.

Shania Christensen rolled a 233 game and a 412 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team to a 2,242 to 2,194 win over Xavier on Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Kayla Thompson had a 206 game and 344 series for the Saints (1-10).

The Warriors are 4-7.
