Wash girls fall to Waterloo West

WATERLOO -  Makenzie Ruddy had the hot hand for Waterloo West Tuesday with a 219-213=432 series in a 2734 to 2211 victory over Cedar Rapids Washington in a Mississippi Valley Conference bowling meet at Maple Lanes in Waterloo.

Lynze Moon led the Warriors with a 336 series.

Shania Christensen and Lynze Moon each rolled 347 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team past Cedar Falls 2,340 to 2,191 on Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Rachael Sears had a 351 series for the Tigers.

DUBUQUE – Lynze Moon had a 341 series to lead Washington in a 2,254 to 2,164 loss to Dubuque Senior on Friday at Cherry Lanes.

Hailey McEowen led a balanced attack for the Rams with a 331 series.

Shania Christensen had a 408 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team to a narrow 2,395 to 2,392 win over Jefferson on Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Rylea Bennett had a 371 series for the J-Hawks.

Cougars nip Warriors in girls bowling

Alyssa Wiedemeier's 341 series led Kennedy to a 2,324-2,300 victory Monday over Washington in the season opener at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Ally Owens led the Warriors with a 348 for the high series.
