Pernicka propels Warriors past Lions

Keely Pernicka had the line Friday at Cedar Rapids Bowl, shooting games of 222 and 211 for a 433 series that led Washington past Linn-Mar, 2557-2501, in girls bowling.

Kelly Waters shot a 204 game for the Warriors.

Linn-Mar was led by Brooke McMorran, who shot a high game of 225 and had a 411 series.

Washington held a 36-pin lead after the first round.

Pernicka powers Warriors past Saints

Keely Pernicka had the line Friday for the Washington girls, rolling a 222 game and 405 series that led the Warriors past Xavier, 2581-1870, in a bowling match at Lancer Lanes.

Kelly Waters had a 207 game for Washington.

Kayla Thompson's 162 was high game for the Saints.

Pernicka shines in Warrior loss

Keely Pernicka had the line with a 350 series, but the Washington girls fell to Waterloo West, 2658-2457, Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Bennett fires J-Hawks past Warriors

Rylea Bennett had the line for Jefferson Friday afternoon rolling games of 204 and 234 for a 438 series that carried the J-Hawks past Washington, 2459-2421, in girls bowling at May City.

Savannah Fowler shot a consistent 372 series, with games of 187 and 185, for the J-Hawks.

Keely Pernicka led Washington with a 373 series. She also had high game for the Warriors of 196.

Pernicka sparks Wash past Kennedy

Keely Pernicka claimed the high series with a 402 Thursday as the Washington Warriors defeated Kennedy, 2544-2422, in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Pernicka also had the high game with a 213.

Alyssa Wiedemeier led Kennedy with a 369 series and a 202 game.
