Washington girls kick Waterloo East

Hannah Sherman and Sarah Altermeier fired in two goals Tuesday night as the Washington Warriors blanked Waterloo East, 7-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference soccer match at Kingston Stadium.

Hannah Sacora, Maggie Clair and Katie Kigin also scored for the Warriors.

Clair, Brinn Noonan, Kigin and Sherman collected assists.

Washington girls win PK Shootout

CEDAR FALLS - The Washington girls soccer team clipped Cedar Falls, 1-0, in a PK Shootout in a Mississippi Valley Conference match at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex Friday.

The Warriors won the Shootout, 4-3.

Ives helps Saints kick Warriors

Katie Ives scored two goals Tuesday as the Xavier Saints blanked Washington, 5-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference soccer match at Xavier.

Paige Diebold, Addy Hoffman and Elena Minor also tallied for the Saints. Melody Snow made five saves in goal for the shutout.

Sydney Wright, Tana Felton and Lizzy Bailey collected assists for Xavier, which is ranked No. 4 in Class 2A.

Prairie girls boot Washington, 4-2

MaKenzie Serbousek scored two goals Thursday as Cedar Rapids Prairie defeated Washington, 4-2, in a Mississippi Valley Conference soccer match at Kingston.

Paige Pritts and Hannah Kousheh also scored for Prairie. One of Serbousek's goals came on a penalty kick.

Cayla Renwick, Serbousek and Kousheh collected assists for the Hawks.

Hannah Sacra scored on a penalty kick for Washington. Katie Kigin also tallied for the Warriors. Victoria Eniola had an assist.
