Keiper sparks Prairie girls by Xavier

Sabrina Keiper enjoyed a big day as the Prairie girls bowling team topped Xavier, 3043-2184, in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet at Lancer Lanes Monday.

Keiper rolled games of 211 and 268 for an impressive 479 series for the Hawks. Ashley Sundstrom added a 212 game and 404 series for Prairie.

XAVIER: Ally Eipert 137-127=264, Abby Scott 125-161=286, Katie Langholz 130-131=261, Ella Schrader 135-145=280, Cheyanne Crane 160-150=310, Tanya Zaugg 192-184=376.

PRAIRIE: Sabrina Keiper 211-268=479, Kaitlyn Early 184-191=375, Rylee Blood 196-192=388, Ashley Grady 173-150=323, Jade Klinefelter 156-149=305, Ashley Sundstrom 192-212=404.

Xavier: 1516 + 668 = 2184.

The Dubuque Senior girls bowling team edged Xavier by just 12 pins, 2,253 to 2,241, Friday at May City Bowl.

The Saints led 1,515 to 1,484 after the first round, but the Rams took a 769 to 726 advantage in the Baker rotation.

Tanya Zaugg had a 231 game and a 374 series to lead Xavier.

Milota leads Cougars by Saints

Jamie Milota rolled a 370 series to lead the Kennedy girls bowling team to a 2,435 to 2,010 win over Xavier on Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Milota also had a high game of 192 for the Cougars.

Tanya Zaugg had a 169 game and a 294 series for the Saints.

Tanya Zaugg rolled a 319 series to lead the Xavier girls bowling team in a narrow loss to Iowa City West Tuesday at May City Bowl.

The Women of Troy won 2,058 pins to 2,000.

Kalei Strabala led West with a 346 series.

Shania Christensen rolled a 233 game and a 412 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team to a 2,242 to 2,194 win over Xavier on Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Kayla Thompson had a 206 game and 344 series for the Saints (1-10).

The Warriors are 4-7.
