Alberhasky earns pair of national honors

The honors keep coming for Coe senior Connor Alberhasky, who has been named the National Co-Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Earlier this week, Alberhasky was named the Iowa Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, the Iowa Conference Co-Male Athlete of the Week and to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week.

Alberhasky threw the third no-hitter on record in program history in a 7-0 win over Loras on Saturday. He struck out five and walked just one while throwing only 60 pitches.

Only two Loras hitters reached base, one on a walk and the other on a fielding error. It was the first no-hitter in Iowa Conference play since 2011.
