Mount Mercy - Women's Soccer

Mount Mercy kicks Harris-Stowe, 4-0

Ashli O'Shea scored a pair of goals to lead Mount Mercy to a 4-0 win Monday over Harris-Stowe at Lower Kingston Field.

Danielle Herdliska and Cally Salter also scored for the Mustangs, now 6-1.

Lauren Koncher had the lone assist for Mount Mercy. Hannah Schroeder had to stop only two shots as the Mustangs outshot the visitors, 18-2.

Konchar, Baloch lift Mustang women

ORANGE CITY - Megan Konchar and Meleah Baloch scored goals in the first half Wednesday as the Mount Mercy women's soccer team trimmed Northwestern College, 2-1, in Orange City.

Konchar gave the Mustangs (5-1) a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal. Baloch found the net with an assist from Cheylee Octavio.

Hannah Schroeder made six saves for Mount Mercy.

Octavio's goal lifts Mustang women

YANKTON, S.D. - Cheylee Octavio broke a scoreless tie with an unassisted goal late in the game Sunday to give the Mount Mercy women's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Mount Marty at a match in Yankton, S.D.

Hannah Schroeder made two saves in goal for the Mustangs for the shutout. Mount Mercy out-shot the hosts, 23-5.

The Mustangs raised their record to 4-1.

Mount Mercy women boot Benedictine

Danielle Herdliska, Cally Salter and Lauren Plante scored goals Saturday as the Mount Mercy women's soccer team tripped Benedictine, 3-1, at the Lower Kingston field.

Lauren Konchar and Cheylee Octavio collected assists for the Mustangs. Hannah Schroeder made two saves in goal for Mount Mercy, which raised its record to 3-1.

Benedictine fell to 2-1.

Waldorf hands Mount Mercy first loss

FOREST CITY - Waldorf built a 2-0 lead, then held on for a 2-1 women's soccer victory over Mount Mercy on Tuesday.

Brittany Mielke scored on a penalty kick in the 88th minute for the Mustangs, allowing them to avert the shutout.

Goalie Hannah Schroeder had eight saves for Mount Mercy, which fired 15 shots on goal against Waldorf keeper Kaylee Vitale.
