Hannah Kousheh and Paige Pritts scored goals Friday as No. 10 Prairie edged Jefferson, 2-1, in a Mississippi Valley Conference soccer game hosted by Jefferson.

Kousheh scored on a penalty kick for the Hawks. Cayla Renwick collected an assist on the goal by Pritts.

Shalyn Kinney tallied for Jefferson.

Taylor Kinney and Shalyn Kinney scored goals Friday as Jefferson blanked Davenport North, 2-0, in a non-conference soccer match at Jefferson.

Taylor Miller and Tori Roethler had assists for the J-Hawks.

Maddy Webber made four saves for Jefferson for the shutout.

URBANDALE - The Cedar Rapids Jefferson girls soccer team dropped a pair of matches Saturday at the Urbandale Tournament.

The J-Hawks lost 3-0 to Johnston and 1-0 to the host school.

Maddy Webber recorded 16 saves against Johnston and 13 saves in the loss to Urbandale.

The Cedar Rapids Jefferson girls soccer team lost to fifth-ranked Iowa City West, 4-1, in a Mississippi Valley Conference game at Jefferson on Thursday.

Taylor Kinney scored the goal for the J-Hawks, with an assist from Shalyn Kinney.

Maddy Webber had 20 saves for Jefferson.
