Waterloo West's Cameron Walker rolled a 440 series and teammate Michael Greve a 433 and the Wahawks handled Kennedy, 2887-2619, Friday in boys bowling at Cedar Rapids Bowl.

Justin Smith shot high game of 218 for Kennedy. He also had high series of 365.

Dubuque Senior boys roll past Cougar keglers

Dubuque Senior built a 195-pin lead in the first round and rolled past Kennedy, 2874-2609, Monday in boys bowling at Cedar Rapids Bowl.

Troy McKiernan led the Cougars (1-6) with a 401 series. McKiernan and Kyle Custer also had high game for the team with 201s.

Dubuque Senior (5-2) was led by Nate Oertel, who rolled high game and series with a 228 and 429, respectively.

Cougar boys hold off City High bowlers

Troy McKiernan rolled games of 202 and 201 for a 403 series that led Kennedy past Iowa City High, 2566-2551, Friday afternoon in boys bowling at Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

The Cougars built a 45-pin lead in the first round, but were outscored by 30 pins in the Baker round.

Joe Warkel rolled a 200 game for Kennedy.

Iowa City High's Austin Kibbler shot high game with a 207.

Cougars struggle, fall to IC West in boys bowling

IOWA CITY -- Kennedy struggled to find the line Friday and the Cougars were toppled by Iowa City West, 2550-2466, in boys bowling at Colonial Lanes.

Tyler Kalina and Jared Poole each shot 188 to tie for high game for Kennedy. Poole had high series with a 336.

West's Ben Peterson took game honors with a 212. He also had high series with a 354.
