No.7 Kennedy girls win 19-0

The Kennedy girls soccer team tried everything it could for the sake of good sportsmanship against Waterloo East Wednesday, but even that did not help a whole lot.

The Cougars deliberately played shorthanded, removing two players from the field with 16 minutes left in the game, and they placed restrictions on the remaining players.

Kennedy won the Mississippi Valley Conference game, 19-0, after scoring all 19 of its goals in the first half.

Kaela Dickerman, Alyssa Drewelow and Sydney Hayden scored three goals apiece. Kasey Dekko and Annie Feltes scored twice. Marcie Christianson, Melette Devore, Emily Feltes, Anna Frerichs, Alex Paustian and Morgan Petsche scored once apiece.
