No.1 Saints put ranking on line against Cougars

Xavier remained the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union's top-ranked team in Class 2A girls soccer in the polls released Thursday.

The Saints are 9-1 and face a test against Class 3A No.8 Kennedy on Friday at Xavier.

Linn-Mar slipped one spot to No.3 in Class 3A.

Dickerman, Harman kick Cougars past Jeff, 8-0

Kaela Dickerman and Tory Harman scored three goals apiece to lead Kennedy to an 8-0 thrashing of Jefferson in girls soccer Tuesday at Kingston Stadium.

Emily Feltes and Sydney Hayden also scored goals for the Cougars.

Feltes also had three assists. Harman had two assists, and Hayden, Morgan Petsche, Anna Frerichs and Mackenzie Stump also had assists.

Cougars whitewash Prairie girls, 2-0

Kaela Dickerman and Morgan Petsche scored goals to lead Kennedy past Prairie, 2-0, Monday night in girls soccer.

Alyssa Drewelow had an assist for the Cougars.

Feltes, Dickerman power Cougars past East, 12-0

WATERLOO - Emily Feltes scored four goals and Kaela Dickerman three to lead Kennedy to a 12-0 rout of Waterloo East Thursday in girls soccer.

The game was called at halftime.

Also scoring for the Cougars were Sydney Hayden, Mac Stump, Morgan Petsche and Annie Feltes.
