Wyant leads No.3 Linn-Mar boys to win

Ryan Wyant rolled a 425 series to lead the third-ranked Linn-Mar boys bowling team to a 3,104-3,014 win over Dubuque Senior on Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Wyant and Andrew Yeisley each had 234 games for the Lions (10-0).

Noah Paar bowled a 420 series for the Rams (4-6).

Diercks helps No.3 Lions trim Kennedy

Alex Diercks captured top honors Thursday with a 259 game and 456 series as No. 3 Linn-Mar edged Kennedy, 3202-3120, in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Sam Crawford rolled a 449 series for Linn-Mar as the Lions raised their record to 9-0. Ryan Wyant was right behind with a 444 for Linn-Mar.

Alex White led Kennedy (5-4-1) with a 440 series. Five of Kennedy's six bowlers enjoyed a 400 series or better.

Foye paces No.3 Linn-Mar bowlers

Kaleb Foye rolled a 477 series Friday as third-ranked Linn-Mar defeated Washington, 3215-2618, in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Foye had games of 242 and 235. Sam Crawford was right behind for the undefeated Lions (8-0) with a 463 series with games of 235 and 228.

Bryan Cline of Washington (1-7) bowled the high game with a 279 and finished with a 474 series, just three pins behind Foye.

Foye’s 513 leads Linn-Mar boys

Kaleb Foye had a 513 series to lead the Linn-Mar boys bowling team to a 3,174 to 2,805 win over Iowa City West on Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center. Andrew Yeisley had a 279 series for the Lions.

Patrick Wood rolled a 397 series to lead the Trojans.
