Doriann Whitlock rolled a 201 game and a 370 series to lead the Linn-Mar girls bowling team to a 2,437 to 2,333 win over Dubuque Senior on Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Haley Guerdt had a 362 series to lead the Rams (4-6).

The Lions improved to 5-5.

Dubuque Senior (2,333): Haley Guerdt 172-190=362, Macy Schmidt 167-136=303, Hailey McEowen 160-138=298, Devin Matoon 145-127=272, Shanice Schmidt 145-118=263, Rachel Trimble 139-121=260.

Christensen leads Wash over Lions

Shania Christensen rolled a 257 game and 427 series Friday to help Washington defeat Linn-Mar, 2606-2513, in a Mississippi Valley Conference bowling meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Alexis Tschantz of Linn-Mar (3-5) challenged Christensen for top honors with a 425 series with games of 212 and 213. Lynze Moon had a 398 series for Washington (3-5).

Bates leads Linn-Mar girls bowlers to win

Hannah Bates rolled a 281 series as the Linn-Mar girls bowling team beat Iowa City West 1,842 to 1,524 Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Jasmine Wardell had a 259 series to lead the Women of Troy.

DUBUQUE – Mekena Diercks had a 201 game and a 382 series to lead the Linn-Mar girls bowling team to a 2,451 to 1,943 win over Dubuque Wahlert on Friday at Cherry Lanes.

Allie Timmerman had a 327 series for Wahlert.

Alexis Tschantz had a 463 series, but the Waterloo West girls bowling team beat Linn-Mar 2,979 to 2,631 Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Makenzie Ruddy led the Wahawks with a 483 series.
