Linn-Mar girls edge Kennedy

Hannah Bates had a 382 series and Katie Routhe had a 200 game to lead the Linn-Mar girls bowling team to a tught 2,605 to 2,559 win over Kennedy in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Hamie Milota rolled a 307 game and a 371 series for the Cougars.

Abbie Smith rolled a 394 series and Mekena Diercks had a 213 game Friday as the Linn-Mar Lions defeated Washington, 2,687-2,024, in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls bowling meet at Lancer Lanes.

Shania Christensen had a 206 game and 374 series for Washington.

IOWA CITY – Mekena Diercks led the Linn-Mar girls bowling team to a 2,353 to 1,985 Mississippi Valley Conference win over Iowa City West with a 194 game and a 352 series Friday at Colonial Lanes.

Mekena Diercks rolled a 210 game and a 371 series to lead the Linn-Mar girls bowling team to a 2,514-2,289 win over Dubuque Wahlert on Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Elena Dominguez rolled a 328 series for the Golden Eagles.

Tschantz leads L-M bowlers in Waterloo

WATERLOO - Alexis Tschantz of Linn-Mar rolled a 211 game Monday to claim top honors in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls bowling meet against Cedar Falls at Maple Lanes in Waterloo.

Cedar Falls won the meet, 2628-2520, behind a 383 series by Madison Standing.
