Linn-Mar - Girls Tennis
Jessica Carpenter and Emily Jones won at No.3 doubles to lift Linn-Mar past Waterloo West, 5-4, Tuesday in girls tennis at Linn-Mar.
Carpenter also won at No.6 singles.
Linn-Mar won four singles matches. Ashley Smith, Gabi Botsford and Anna Schlueter also posted singles wins.
Linn-Mar - Girls Tennis
The Linn-Mar girls tennis team was trimmed by Cedar Falls, 5-4, in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A regional tournament Saturday at Linn-Mar.
Ashley Smith, Gabi Botsford and Mackenzie Luehring were victorious for the Lions at No.1, No.2 and No.3 singles, but Cedar Falls won several close matches to take the meet.
Cedar Falls will play Prairie in the regional semifinals next Saturday at Prairie.
Linn-Mar - Girls Tennis
Dubuque Wahlert won two of three doubles matches and edged Linn-Mar, 5-4, Tuesday in girls tennis at Linn-Mar.
The teams split the six singles matches.
Jessica Carpenter had wins in both singles and doubles for the Lions.

Linn-Mar - Girls Tennis
Raquel Kragel posted Linn-Mar's only win in singles and the Lions were beaten Monday by Dubuque Hempstead, 7-2, in girls tennis at Linn-Mar.
The Lions' other win came from the doubles team of Mackenzie Luehring and Anna Schlueter.

Prairie won two of three doubles matches and rallied to defeat Linn-Mar, 5-4, Tuesday in girls tennis at Prairie.
Shannon Costigan and Michelle Grenn won twice for Prairie.
Ashley Smith and Gabi Botsford posted a pair of wins for Linn-Mar.
