Weiland sparks Mustangs by William Penn

Alisa Weiland poured in 20 points Saturday to help Mount Mercy defeatĀ William Penn, 76-58, in a Midwest Collegiate Conference game at the Hennessey Recreation Center.

Makenzie Zeitler had a big double-double for the Mustangs (14-12, 5-3) with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Abby Herb scored 16 points. Christa Oldham finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Dezarea Duckworth tossed in 18 points for William Penn (10-15, 3-6).
