J-Hawks' depth holds off Warriors

Jefferson had three bowlers roll 400 series en route to a 3086-2921 win over Washington in a Mississippi Valley Conference match Friday (Dec. 10) at May City Bowl.

Dan Healy led the J-Hawks with a 236 high game and 440 series.  Will James went 230-426 and James Bruce 224-419.

Washington’s Ryan Bundy had high game (254) and series (441).

WASHINGTON (2921): Jay Niblick 186-362, Mitch Beebe 244-424, Ryan Bundy 254-441, Zach Christensen 187-355, Quincy Bruce 166-309.

JEFFERSON (3086): Michael Kilts 203-395, Will James 230-426, Austin Kluth 178-359, James Bruce 224-419, Dan Healy 236-440.

First round — Jefferson 2039, Washington 1891. Baker round — Jefferson 1052, Washington 1030.
