Registration has begun for the Iowa Women's Softball League for the 2021 campaign next summer.
Everyone who played in the IWSL this year will get a 50 percent discount if they register by Sept. 30. Instead of paying the player fee of $100, you will pay only $50 to secure a spot for next year.
If you ultimately decide not to play in 2021, you will receive a full refund with no questions asked. If you think you might want to play, it's better to claim a spot now for half-price and not worry about it later.
The 50 percent discount applies to everyone who was assigned to a team for the entire 2020 campaign and to substitutes as well, even if you played in only one game all year.
The player fee will be $75 for everyone - returning players and new players - from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31. The fee will be $100 for everyone who registers from Jan. 1 through the start of the season.

All family members of IWSL coaches are welcome to play in the league for free again in 2021. This applies to family members of head coaches and assistant coaches.
Also, all Mount Mercy players who have played in the league since the IWSL began in 2017 are welcome to play for free again as thanks for letting us play at Busse Field for several years. Mount Mercy players who join the league for the first time in 2021 will be asked to pay the player fees from now on.
We plan to stay at the field in Walker again in 2021. The City of Walker rolled out the welcome mat for us this season and did a terrific job of making us feel comfortable and welcome. The good folks at Mount Mercy have likewise been terrific, but quite frankly it's a lot cooler on the dirt and grass in Walker, with all those shade trees, than it is on the field turf at Mount Mercy.
The playing dates for the 2021 season are May 30, June 6-13-20-27 and July 11-18-25. They are all Sunday doubleheaders at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
