A.J. Puk of Cedar Rapids Washington has been selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic on Sunday, Aug. 12 at Petco Park in San Diego.

Puk, 6-foot-6, is a left-handed pitcher and first baseman who is entering his senior year at Washington. He has already committed to play college baseball at the University of Florida.

A total of 46 players were selected for the All-American Classic. Puk is a member of the East squad.

The game will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.
