Marion - Boys Golf
MANCHESTER - West Delaware had the top two medalists and won the Class 3A sectional meet Friday.
West Delaware, Independence and Oelwein advanced to the district meet.
West Delaware's Brock Morris was medalist with a 72. Teammate Clayton Larsen had a 73.
Independence golfers placed third and fourth. Kurtis Christiansen shot a 75 and Ryan Cooksley a 78.
Marion participated in the meet, but no scores were available.
Marion - Boys Golf
SHELLSBURG - Ian Kelly fired a 6-over-par 76 to lead the Marion Indians at the Wamac Conference Super Meet at the Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg Monday.
Marion finished 14th out of 16 teams.

MONTICELLO - Ian Kelly shot an 11-over-par 81 Wednesday to help the Marion Indians finish fifth at the Monticello Invitational at the Monticello Country Club.
Austin Lynch of Cascade took medalist honors with a 2-over 70. Dyersville won the team championship.

Jeremy Schnieders shot a 38 that led Marion to a fourth-place finish in the Wamac West Division boys golf tournament Monday at Gardner Golf Course.
Waterloo Columbus won the meet by 13 shots over Independence. Benton was third and Marion was two strokes behind the Vikings.
Columbus placed five golfers in the top 10. Robby Nelson was medalist with a 36. Schnieders was sixth.

Williamsburg scored a 10-stroke win over Marion in boys golf Thursday at Gardner.
Ian Kelly led Marion with a 42. Jeremy Schnieders shot a 43.
Williamsburg's Alex Gragg was medalist with a 40.
